Serie Aqua Alta a Venezia

This project presents a series of studies and experiences capturing the unique texture of water and light in Venice during the Aqua Alta phenomenon. The artworks depict the interplay of the element of water as an active force that shapes the stones and structures with marks and textures. I analyze how light and color behave differently and it refracts through humidity, reflects off water, and interacts in ways that are both subtle and dramatic. I'm interested in continuing exploring how light becomes a witness to the city’s fragility and resilience, how it reveals the tension between permanence and impermanence, and how it shapes the emotional experience of place.
