Project 2 Painting Venice : Dorsoduro

This project presents a series of studies and experiences capturing the city. Venice is a city where atmosphere is not a backdrop but an active force. Light behaves differently and it refracts through humidity, reflects off water, and interacts in ways that are both subtle and dramatic. I am interested in how light becomes a witness to the city’s fragility and resilience and how it shapes the emotional experience of place.
